Research

We've compiled a list of interesting articles and research from recent publications around the world to keep you up to date with the latest developments.

Emergence Magazine - Trees. A new online publication that just happens to be focussed on one of our favourite subjects - trees!

The Hare and the Tortoise go to Forest School: taking the scenic route to academic attainment via emotional wellbeing outdoors. A great piece of research from 2018

Forest Schooled | About Forest School - A great examination of the meaning of Forest School from our friend Caylin at Forest Schooled. There are some fantastic resources on her blog too and some new digital Reflective Learning Packs for your ongoing professional development during this downtime.

The Value of Play by Peter Gray - One of our favourite writers on Play, a really interesting read and so relevant to Forest School practice!

Case study - Working with Challenging Behaviour and Neurodiversity in the Outdoors

Upcoming Events from Cambium and our Associate Trainers

Due to the current restrictions, many of our face to face CPD opportunities have been postponed for now. However, we are working on some really exciting online projects which will enable our learners to extend and expand their skills whilst unable to work outdoors with groups.

Watch this Space!

Happy to help.

We'd love your feedback on this new publication. Have you found it useful? Would you like more? What could we cover in future newsletters?
