This is an engaging 5-day course developed specifically for those responsible for coordinating Outdoor Learning across an organisation, school or Multi Academy Trust.
It will empower you to integrate Curriculum-Based Outdoor Learning and other Outdoor Learning approaches within your organisation. Over the course of five days, you'll dive into the management and coordination of an array of Outdoor Learning approaches.
This comprehensive journey includes:
Understanding the Roots: Delve into the evolution of modern Outdoor Learning, exploring recent research and practices that have shaped this dynamic field.
Evaluating Current Practices: Assess your existing Outdoor Learning provision and create robust procedures and best practice guidelines to integrate outdoor experiences into the entire strategy of your setting.
Sustainable Site Management: Learn to plan and sustainably manage your own grounds, turning them into vibrant spaces for learning.
Year-Round Programming: Develop engaging Outdoor Learning programmes that captivate your groups throughout the seasons.
Skills Development: Build upon your Outdoor Learning skills, ensuring that you are well-equipped for the exciting challenges ahead.
You will complete a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your learning and application, with a completion window of nine months from the start date.

Entry Requirements:
Level 2 qualification or appropriate experience in education, youth work, childcare etc.
Established link with a group and experience working with groups outdoors.
18 years or over.
First Aid Qualification and DBS strongly advised.
